The objectives of the Recreation Supervisor’s Section are:

To provide training opportunities at a Statewide level for Park and Recreation Professionals.

To provide training opportunities in each CPRS district for Park and Recreation Professionals.

To develop trainings that grow the Core Competencies of Park and Recreation Professionals as found in the CPRS VIP Action Plan.

To develop trainings that assist the CPRS State Board in obtaining its Ends Policies.

To be an effective communication link between CPRS, the State Board, and Park and Recreation Professionals throughout California.
